Philadelphia: Cira Green

Just a very short walk from 30th Street Station is Philadelphia’s first elevated park, Cira Green on top of a parking garage by Cira South.  The views of center city are amazing and the space is clean, beautiful and appreciated. The more green spaces, the better, especially in University City [home of University of Penn and Drexel University] where the large pace of real estate development currently underway is a testament of renaissance of Philadelphia.

While the space opened late last year, I only had the opportunity to go up to the park this past Thursday. It is definitely a place to go and watch the sun rise over the city or just relax and contemplate life.
